I've been a very bad blogger as of late, haven't I? I've barely posted anything. Well...I guess it's because I'm busy, and don't really know what to say.
Soooo....
Well, I better come up with something to say. Hmm. I know, I'll ramble about my new favorite book series--Fablehaven, by Brandon Mull.
Basically Fablehaven is the story of two kids--Seth and Kendra Sorenson. Their parents send them away to live with the grandfather for the summer.
Well, their grandparents own a huge wild preserve. Unbeknownst to Seth and Kendra at first, it's a MAGICAL preserve, full of dangerous and mystical creatures.
Sooner or later, they find out, though. During Midsummer's Eve, Seth unwittingly opens the window to their attic bedroom, thus letting in a group of demonic creatures.
Anyway, Dale (who works at Fablehaven and is one of my favorite characters) luckily comes in with a shotgun and draws the evil monsters away.
Of course, the next morning, Seth and Kendra (who can now leave their room, now that it's daytime) go down to find out that the whole house has been trashed by monsters.
To shorten the story: they get help from their grandmother (who had been missing for a few months; not telling you where), they get help from fairies, and there's a big battle with a demon at the end.
That's just the FIRST book though. There's four more! ^.^ I'll talk about each of them another day. For now, if you want to know more about the first book, find it and read it yourself. XD
