Beautiful but Deadly

That's how I've been describing my front- and back-yards lately. See, we recently had a snowfall. Then it rained. What that resulted in was ice. Lots and lots of ice.
So, I took a lot of pictures. And I'm going to post a few of them now, just to show you how bad the yard was.

Many of the trees and bushes were encased in ice:

Not only that, but tons of branches and sticks broke underneath the weight of all the ice, therefore cluttering up the yards...

Oh, yeah, and one of my mom's favorite trees crashed to the ground. Along with several other trees.

Besides that, several of the trees in the yard were all bending under the weight, including one of my favorite trees (the first picture):

So...yeah. Pretty big consequences here. Very pretty, but very dangerous--me and my brother nearly got crushed by falling branches several times yesterday.
