A New Story...The Haunted House on Cardinal Road

Yes, I do indeed have an idea for a new story. I'll tell the basic plot, and then the characters (because I love talking about characters. XD).
Basically, it takes place in October. A homeless movie director (homeless because of a huge scam he got himself into) is searching for a place to stay until he can get enough money to find an apartment.
He soon finds his way to...the haunted house on Cardinal Road.
Obviously, he has no idea that it's haunted. So he goes on in and soon meets up with several ghosts.
Luckily, they're more-or-less friendly, and allow him to stay.
Enter a troubled junior-high-school kid. Basically, he does not do too well in school.
And there's also a band of juvenile delinquents roaming the town.
In the end there's a climax in the haunted house, involving all the characters.
It's just a ghost of a plot right now, really (and yes, the corny pun was intended). But it interests me. XD
