Character List For "The Phantom Island"

Here's another one of my character lists, with pictures of people who look similar to them. Hope you enjoy it! I have fun making these up.

Viggo Steele (he looks like this guy: http://www.kieben.com/images/aragorneyes.jpg )--Viggo is the main character. He is, in essence, a modern day warrior-for-hire. However, he has a strong moral code, and if a job offer doesn't follow that code, he refuses to take it. He has a younger brother (Darian), but no other family (his father has gone missing, and his mother is dead).

Darian Steele (he looks like this guy: http://s3.hubimg.com/u/4944874_f260.jpg [he looks a little more like Orlando Bloom than that])--Darian is a supporting character. He's a mercenary, and, unlike his older brother, does not have as strong of a moral code. He's comfortable with many jobs, including kidnappings and assassinations--though he makes sure he's killing someone who actually should be assassinated first. He has an older brother (Viggo). Darian greatly dislikes Ethan Asher and anything to do with Ethan (that includes Ethan's twin brother).

Aelfcynn (she's a shapeshifter, but is usually in the shape of this animal: http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/queen_babylon/wolf%20me/White.jpg , just with blue eyes)--Aelfcynn is one of Viggo's Celtic shapeshifter companions. She's the one who keeps Viggo and his friends in line--she's strict and rather bossy at times. She quarrels with Rowan quite often, but in reality they're best friends.

Rowan (he's a shapeshifter, but is usually in the shape of this animal: http://www.scenicreflections.com/files/Winter_Red_Fox_Wallpaper_mjttw.jpg ) --Rowan is one of Viggo's Celtic shapeshifter companions. He's one who could be called the jester of the group; he tries to keep everyone happy and in good spirits. He's energetic, funny, and cares a lot for everyone (except people who try to hurt his friends on purpose). He likes to tease Aelfcynn.

Ethan Asher (he looks like this guy: http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/8000000/Sean-Bean-sean-bean-8052225-500-606.jpg )--Ethan is a mercenary, a criminal, a spy, a treasure-hunter, and anything else he has to be in order to make some money. He's not afraid to kill or steal to get what he wants, but he's fiercely loyal to his friends--or those he considers his friends. He acts like he could care less about the Steele brothers, but in reality he respects them, and sometimes even envies them (because they have each other, and they care about one another; Ethan's only relatives are cruel or ignore him, etc). Ethan really does have a good heart, but it needs to be let free; he's never been loved by anyone, and that includes his own family. Secretly, he sometimes thinks about giving up his criminal life.

Liam Asher (he looks like this guy [remember, he and Ethan are twins]: http://geektyrant.com/storage/post-images-2011/sean-bean-missing-abc.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1302230935437 )--Liam is a criminal, and that's all. His moral compass basically doesn't exist. All he cares about is money and liquor. He only came along with Ethan and the others because he thinks there's something in it for him. He had the same sort of life as Ethan did, but it corrupted him. Think of it this way: Liam is angry with the way he was treated as a child; however, Ethan is rather sad and confused deep inside about the same thing (I think I'm giving away too many secrets about these guys' personalities...).

Jack Darosa (he looks like this guy: http://www.company.co.uk/cm/companyuk/images/DQ/or_17dd5f14122840920923568.jpg )--Jack is a treasure-hunter. When he's not out treasure-hunting (which isn't often), he tends to ask people for oddjobs. Jack is a friendly and energetic man, but he often has mood swings. He can lose his temper very easily, but he can also be very calm and relaxed minutes before. He doesn't get along well with Darian, because they were both on opposite sides of the same mercenary/treasure-seeking job once. Jack loves the country of Australia, and likes to spend what free time he has there.

Shaun Mark (he looks like this guy: http://images.wikia.com/celticthunderltd/images/6/60/Tn-500_%2811%29.jpg )--Shaun was 'press-ganged' into the venture by Liam and Ethan Asher. He's an Englishman with a great amount of knowledge on...lots of things. He knows a lot about mythology, speaks several languages, and is basically just a very smart person. He's mild-mannered, even-tempered, and soft-spoken--not a good thing with the present company. Viggo can be quiet, but usually likes to have conversations; Darian is very quiet but usually sulking about something; Jack is boisterous; Ethan tends to be snappish or cynical; Liam is cruel to everyone; and not many of them are comfortable talking to shapeshifters anyhow. Anyway, Shaun was not a willing member of this endeavour.
